All Faith Thanksgiving is an event taking place on Sunday, November 30, 2025 in the Upper Valley.
This event is held at Orford, NH.
The annual interfaith Service of Gratitude on the Sunday after Thanksgiving is back! Local lay people and clergy from many faith traditions in the Upper Valley speak about their personal spiritual practices and then lead us briefly in prayer.
This service begins with an opening prayer from the Haudenosaunee native peoples of this land.
The first part of the service is designed to remember and honor the suffering of indigenous people at the hands of the settler regimes.
We then hear representatives of the local faiths introduce themselves and their faith and lead us in prayers and chants of gratitude from their traditions: this year we have representation from Hindu, Zen Buddhist, Zoroastrian, Lakota, and Gaian spiritual paths.
A potluck follows the service.
All are welcome.
Child care is available, though older children are invited to join us in the sanctuary.
